What we collect
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and information about your child (name, birth or due date, state). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
We store your checklist progress — which items you've marked complete — so it persists across devices and sessions.
How we use it
Your information is used to personalize your checklist, remember your progress, and send lifecycle emails relevant to your child's age (if you opt in). We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties except as described below.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics only loads if you accept analytics cookies via the banner shown on your first visit. PostHog collects anonymized product usage data regardless of cookie preference. No personally identifiable information is shared with either service beyond what you would expect from standard web analytics.
We use Loops to send transactional and lifecycle emails. Your email address and child-related data are shared with Loops for this purpose. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email.
Cookies and sessions
We use a session cookie to keep you signed in for up to 30 days. Anonymous checklist progress and your analytics consent choice are stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not use third-party tracking cookies beyond those placed by Google Analytics (only if you consent) and PostHog.
Data storage
Account data is stored in Cloudflare D1, a serverless SQLite database operated by Cloudflare, Inc. Data is stored at the edge in accordance with Cloudflare's data handling policies.
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 7 days. Anonymized analytics data held by Google Analytics and PostHog is subject to their own retention policies.
Your rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. To request a copy of the data we hold about you, or to correct inaccurate information, email smcn4221@gmail.com. To delete your account and all associated data, use the same address with the subject line "Delete my account." We will respond within 7 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
